Q3 Is the garden enclosed?
Yes, the back garden is completely fenced with rear gate leading to pine forest and side gate leading to front garden and parking area.
Q4 Can we have guests to stay?
The cottage sleeps up to 4 people so providing you don’t exceed that number you can have other people stay with you within current COVID guidelines.
Q5 What facilities do you have for ease of accessibility?
There is ramp access to the front door and level access to decking area at rear.
Croftwood Cottage is all on one level with new hardwood flooring fitted in all main living areas.
Grab rails are positioned in porch, main bedroom and bathroom.
The bathroom is a large wet room with spacious shower area with wheelchair available for shower use as well as perch seat beside sink if required. Closomat WC is fitted with inbuilt bidet facility.
Q6 Do local supermarkets offer delivery services?
We understand that Tesco, Sainsburys and ASDA will deliver groceries ordered online. Some local food businesses also deliver – eg the Balliefurth Farm Shop in Nethybridge.
Q7 Can you recommend places to eat out or takeaway from?
Recommendations for the local area are listed on the Boat of Garten page and there are a number of good eating places in Aviemore, Grantown-on-Spey, Nethybridge and Carrbridge.
Q8 Do you have outdoor storage for bikes, equipment, etc?
Yes, the hut in rear garden is available for guests to use. It will take up to 4 bikes.
