DIRECTIONS
Boat of Garten is just off the A95 – the main road between Aviemore and Grantown-on-Spey. When driving from the south, leave the A9 at the junction north of Aviemore sign-posted Grantown-on-Spey/Boat of Garten. Turn left after 100 metres at the T-junction and follow the A95 for about 3 miles to the turn-off right signposted Boat of Garten. This road takes you into the centre of the village.
After about a mile, look out for the Boat House B&B – a large white building opposite the entrance to the Boat of Garten Holiday Park. Immediately beyond the Boat House, you’ll see a driveway leading off the main road. Follow this driveway, turning sharp right at the end and round the parking area in front of Croftwood Cottage.
Please park carefully in front of the cottage to allow vehicles to access the adjacent property.

Follow the road through Carrbridge village, bearing right at Carrbridge Hotel. Continue for 3 miles until T junction, turn left onto A95 and after 0.7 mile turn-off right for Boat of Garten. This road takes you into the centre of the village.

Immediately beyond the Boat House, you’ll see a driveway leading off the main road. Follow this driveway, turning sharp right at the end and round the parking area in front of Croftwood Cottage.

If you’re coming from the North East on the A95. there is another turn-off into Boat of Garten just west of the hamlet of Drumuillie, next to a large sawmill. Follow this road past a little loch and into the village, bearing right at the Boat Hotel and up the hill. The Boat House B&B and the adjacent driveway to Croftwood Cottage will be on your left.
